There are several opportunities to participate with Prairie Volleyball during the late spring and summer months!

Prairie HS requires that all student-athletes have a completed sports packet on file with the ASB office before they are cleared to participate in ANY spring/summer activities OR tryouts.

June 2024

Summer League 
  • C/JV-hosted at Heritage HS/Varsity-hosted at Prairie HS
  • Girls entering 9th-12th grade and plan to try out for Prairie Volleyball teams that fall

July 2024

Strength & Conditioning/Open Gyms
  • PHS Volleyball coaching staff will be leading conditioning and skills clinics open to all incoming PHS 9th-12th
  • These opportunities are free of charge

Junior's Camp: July 8, 9, 10th (AM)
  • Girls entering 4th-8th grades (Fall 2024)
  • This camp is designed for upper elementary and middle school girls who are interested in learning fundamental volleyball skills and/or improving their skills in preparation for club and high school volleyball. All levels welcome! The Prairie H.S. Volleyball coaching staff will provide enthusiastic instruction with emphasis on well-rounded skills and total player development.  Daily skill and team building drills, competition and FUN complete this camp!  Focus on specific skills such as setting, hitting, passing and serving will be included.

High School Camp: July 8, 9, 10th (PM)
  • This camp is designed for incoming 9th-12th grade girls who are interested in trying out and participating in the PHS Volleyball Program.  All levels welcome!!
  • This is an all-skills camp with emphasis on passing, setting, serving and attacking.  There will be drills and game play to build both offensive and defensive team based strategies.
  • REGISTRATION FORM *must be mailed/postmarked by June 14th*

August 2024

Tryouts: August 26,27,28
  • This is for all female athletes enrolled at Prairie HS that want to be considered for one of our 3-4 teams (depending on tryout numbers (C, JV2, JV, or Varsity)
